Kia Tigers starting pitcher Lee Yi-ri (21) was ejected for a head shot. It was his fourth of the season.

Lee started the third game토토사이트 of a midweek three-game series against the Hanwha Eagles of the 2023 KBO League at Hanwha Life Eagles Park in Daejeon on May 25. After retiring the first three batters he faced in the bottom of the first inning with two strikeouts, Lee was shaken up briefly in the second inning when he gave up a leadoff walk to Noh Si-hwan. He then faced the fifth batter, Kim In-hwan, and his four-seam fastball (glove) slipped out of his hand. The ball struck In-hwan Kim on the helmet.

If a fastball hits a batter in the head, he’s out. Of course, it didn’t matter; Lee was panicked and immediately approached home plate.

Hanwha staff members, including manager Choi Won-ho, came out to check on him, and Kia leaders, including manager Kim Jong-kook, went over to him.

Lee apologized to Kim In-hwan and the Hanwha coaching staff. Luckily, Kim In-hwan got up on his own.

The game was headlined by a matchup between league representative Moon Dong-ju of Young Gun and Lee Yi-ri. There was a twist early in the game. KIA brought in left-hander Kim Ki-hoon as their second pitcher.
