San Diego Padres center fielder Ha-Sung Kim (27) lowers his head after being caught stealing a base on an opposing pitch.

Kim went 0-for-4 in the first inning of the Padres’ 2023 Major League Baseball (MLB) home game against the Philadelphia Phillies at Petco Park in San Diego, California, U.S., on June 6. His season batting average dropped from .275 to .273 (128-for-469).

Kim led off the first inning with a single and was out on a grounder to shortstop. He hit a low changeup from starter Michael Lorenzen for a single.

With the score tied at 0-0, the offense came up short in the bottom of the third. With runners on first and second, Kim Ha-seong hit a hard line drive to left field. The opposing shortstop, Idmundu Sosa, made an incredible leaping catch. The play was literally awe-inspiring. Kim Ha-seong, who had been hitting the opposing team’s batsmen with his picturesque lake ball, was the center of attention.먹튀검증

After losing the hit, Kim was silent for the rest of the at-bat. He grounded out to third base in the bottom of the fifth inning with a 3-0 lead, and he popped out to center field with runners on first and second in the top of the sixth inning with a 7-0 lead.

Despite Kim’s slump, San Diego pounded out a team-high 10 hits and cruised to an 8-0 victory.
