Jack Rex of the Lotte Giants showed off the aspect of a ‘home run thief’, which is rare in the KBO League.

On the 4th, Lotte is playing the first game of three consecutive matches against SSG Landers at SSG Landers Field in Incheon.

Lotte took the lead against SSG starter Oh Won-seok in the first inning attack안전놀이터. Leadoff Ahn Kwon-soo reached base with a heavy hit, and An Chi-hong’s sacrifice bunt sent it to second base. Then, Rex hit a double at the right time in left field. The follow-up hit failed to add an extra point.

The Lotte selection was Park Se-woong. On defense in the bottom of the first inning, SSG’s first hitter, Choo Shin-soo, gave up a ball that hit his body. After one run, Choi Jung-ho fired a two-run homer that hit the banner over the right fence, making the home fans go wild.

However, Lotte right fielder Rex jumped up and insisted that it was not a home run. Accordingly, Lotte Bench applied for video reading.

Initially, the referees judged that Jeong-Jeong Choi’s ball hit Rex’s glove and bounced off the ground after hitting the banner. However, as a result of the reading, Choi’s batted ball hit the banner while remaining in Rex’s glove and fell back into the ground. Rex kicked up a batted ball that was supposed to be a home run and turned it into a hit.

Choi Je-eun has already returned to the dugout and received congratulations. However, the referee canceled Choi’s home run and changed it to a double, restoring the situation to 1 out 2 and 3 base.

For Rex, he unfortunately missed the all-time super catch, but stole one home run from Jeong Choi. In the ensuing crisis, Park Se-woong allowed catcher Yoo Kang-nam to tie the score, but Choi Joo-hwan and Heredia struck out one after another and did not give up a turnaround.

A timely hit on offense, a home run thief who could have made an all-time catch on defense. It was Rex who saved Ace, who was about to be shaken.
