Seung-Taek Oh has won a tournament on the Korean Professional Golf Association’s (KPGA) second-tier tour, the Srixon Tour.

Oh shot a final round of 11-under-par 129 to win the 18th edition of the KPGA Thrixon Tour ($80 million in prize money) at Gunsan CC (par-70, 6,782 yards) in Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do, on Monday.

Oh Seung-taek, who played in a tiebreaker with Kim, parred the third hole of the extra session, the par-5 12th, to take home 16 million won. Kim made a double bogey on the 12th.

Oh won a silver medal in the individual competition and a bronze medal in the team competition at the 2018 Asian Games in Palembang, Jakarta.먹튀검증

He joined the KPGA Tour as a professional in December 2018 and made his debut on the KPGA Korean Tour in 2021. His best finish on the Korean Tour is a tie for 26th place at the 2021 KPGA Championship.

“This is really a new beginning for me,” said Oh, who earned his first professional victory in two months after being released in July, “and I will do my best for the remaining Srixon Tour events and Korean Tour qualifying tournaments.”
